Bright Path Afterschool and Enrichment Program was founded from a passion for helping children and families access personalized educational support in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a future where every child has access to the educational support, encouragement, and opportunities needed to succeed. We aspire to be a trusted resource for families and a place where children develop the knowledge, confidence, resilience, and character necessary to become successful learners, responsible citizens, and the hope of tomorrow.
With this vision in mind, Bright Path Afterschool and Enrichment Program was created to provide individualized educational support that focuses on each child's unique strengths, learning style, and goals. We believe that every child has the ability to succeed when given the right tools, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.
Our program offers academic enrichment, homework assistance, literacy support, executive functioning development, study skills coaching, social-emotional learning activities, and confidence-building experiences designed to help students thrive both academically and personally.
Our Founder
Our founder, Mayrela Hernandez, brings a diverse background in education, communication sciences, and social work. Through years of working with children and families in educational and community settings, she recognized that many students benefit from additional support beyond the traditional classroom. Some children need help building confidence, strengthening academic skills, improving organization, developing study habits, or simply having a supportive environment where they can learn at their own pace

At Bright Path, we are committed to partnering with families to create positive learning experiences that inspire curiosity, independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Our goal is not only to support academic growth but also to empower children to believe in themselves and reach their full potential.
